Material characteristics

Aluminium (AL)

Aluminium is used in most of the applications. This is thanks to its characteristics regarding corrosion resistance, ease of processing, non-flammability and reliability over the time.

Aluminium with epoxy protection (AC)

In enviroments with aggressive atmosphere, usually is recommended that aluminium is protected by a paint coating non-toxic based epoxy corrosion resistant (AC version - GOLD).

B·Blue (AB)

To reduce the consumption of electricity for cooling, it's possible to integrate a plate heat exchanger in an indirect evaporative cooling system. Recuperator has developed a new hydrophilic aluminium coating that improves system efficiency and ensures high corrosion resistance.

		F Series	A/B Series	E Series	X Series
	AZ Hips reduced by 1 mm Aluminum side plates, made with reduced thickness, with smooth top and easy installation (slide-in), combined with CD option. This solution (prerogative of some models of the B series) allows to have a greater finned surface, which can be important in small spaces. These devices are also very light and easy to handle.
PROFILES	CD Special profile (combined with AZ and AR) It is possible to combine special head covers so that they can be quickly installed in the air handling units (slide-in).
SEALING	NS Silicon free Recuperator devices are produced without the use of silicone. However, in some applications (for example, for high temperatures), in order to guarantee the sealing between air flows, it is necessary to use this sealant.
	SC Additional sealing Option that guarantees a greater seal between the two air flows. This option is recommended in particular applications such as hospitals, clean rooms, spray booths etc.
	SM Mechanical sealing Standard option produced during the stamping phase only for the F series.
BY-PASS PDF	BS Side bypass without damper Option that provides a side by-pass section without damper.
	BZ Bypass centrale senza serranda Option that provides a central by-pass section without damper.
BYPASS AND DAMPER PDF	BP Lateral bypass with external control damper Option that includes a lateral by-pass section equipped with a damper with external control.
	VP Lateral bypass with painted damper external control Option that includes a side by-pass section equipped with a painted damper with external control.
	BD Lateral bypass with internal control damper Option that provides a side by-pass section equipped with damper with internal control.
	BC Central bypass with external control damper Option that includes a central by-pass section equipped with a damper with external control.

	XS High differential pressure Reinforced plate for 3000Pa / 12inwc of pressure. Available only for F series model
	TV Epoxy protection Epoxy protection for both corner profile and side plates against aggressive environments. Max temperature allowed 90°C. This option is usually associated with AC or AB fins.
	AR Side plate Side plate with fold and with smooth top and easy installation (slide-in). Lower limits than AE side plates.
	AF Selected Side plates Side plates, in case of limited space, can be selected (same construction with smaller dimensions). Compared to the AE, AF has lower limits for heat exchanger in one piece. Always 20mm (0.78in) of thickness
