Material characteristics

Aluminium (AL)

Aluminium is used in most of the applications. This is thanks to its characteristics regarding corrosion resistance, ease of processing, non-flammability and reliability over the time.

Aluminium with epoxy protection (AC)

In enviroments with aggressive atmosphere, usually is recommended that aluminium is protected by a paint coating non-toxic based epoxy corrosion resistant (AC version - GOLD).

B·Blue (AB)

To reduce the consumption of electricity for cooling, it's possible to integrate a plate heat exchanger in an indirect evaporative cooling system. Recuperator has developed a new hydrophilic aluminium coating that improves system efficiency and ensures high corrosion resistance.

High differential pressure resistance

During production, the plates can be subjected to a special treatment in order to become resistant to pressure differences up to 2500 Pa.

Painted frame

The traditional frame can be protected with an epoxy paint against any aggressive substances. This option is usually associated with "AC option" painted fins.

SIDE PLATE

Side plate with fold and turned

Galvanized steel side plate, with smooth top and easy installation (slide-in) combined with CD option.

AF

Side plate with 20 mm fold

Side panels in galvanized steel, with double lateral fold, designed for duct installation and reduced width. Not available with CD option.

AE

Side plate with fold

Side panels in galvanized steel, with double side fold, designed for duct installation. Available on all B and F series models, they can have a thickness ranging from 20 mm to 40 mm.

AZ

Hips reduced by 1 mm

Aluminum side plates, made with reduced thickness, with smooth top and easy installation (slide-in), combined with CD option. This solution (prerogative of some models of the B series) allows to have a greater finned surface, which can be important in small spaces. These devices are also very light and easy to handle.

It is possible to combine special head covers so that they can be quickly installed in the air handling units (slide-in).

SEALING

NS

Silicon free

Recuperator devices are produced without the use of silicone. However, in some applications (for example, for high temperatures), in order to guarantee the sealing between air flows, it is necessary to use this sealant.

SC

Additional sealing

Option that guarantees a greater seal between the two air flows. This option is recommended in particular applications such as hospitals, clean rooms, spray booths etc.

SM

Mechanical sealing

Standard option produced during the stamping phase only for the F series.
